Abaka design was born back in 2002 as a tiny advertisement studio, which provide  graphic designs, sketch services, paintings and others related to visual art. ‘Abaka’ itself is the name of our primary and secondary school (srk abaka tawau, sm abaka tawau )where we spent more than 8 years of formal schooling. We proud to have it as our name .

We started the sand-carving or sandblasting on glass not long before the year of 2009 which this kind of art was as my long term passion before. After long years of trial and error, we finally got the teeth to publish and market our products to some relatives and friends.

This blog is aim to let more people (here in Tawau especially )  to realize that there is a contemporary glass art works they could understand more, learn and appreciate, is out there to be discovered.
